  • 2009     New Strategic Alliance with three high profile financial planning firms.
  • 2007     Assets under management - $135 million Firm introduces the Select Managed Portfolios offering with                 pooled funds : Hemisphere Canadian Value Fund and Select Shares U.S. Fund.
  • 2006     Ann Follinger joins firm.
  • 2005     Firm registers as an investment counsel/portfolio manager with the Ontario Securities Commission.
  • 2004     Assets under management - $100 million
  • 2003     Firm registers as an investment counsel/portfolio manager with the British Columbia and Manitoba                  Securities Commissions.
  • 2002     Rick Riffel joins Hemisphere in June. The Firm merges with Loucks, Lee & Associates in December;                 Tom Loucks joins Hemisphere.
  • 2001     Assets under management - $20 million. Hemisphere Value Fund is wound down in June with a Financial                 Post five star rating.
  • 1998     Assets under management - $ 15 million. Firm is renamed Hemisphere Capital Management.
  • 1997     Firm relocates to Calgary and registers as an investment counsel/portfolio manager in Alberta. Shares                 office with Tom Loucks and Loucks, Lee & Associates.
  • 1995     AssetsĀ  under management - $4.5 million
  • 1994     Firm creates Hemisphere Value Fund, the first mutual fund managed in the Province of Saskatchewan. First                 strategic alliance with Regina based financial planning firm.
  • 1993     Founded by Jim Aronitz, Hemisphere Capital Corp. begins operations in Saskatoon. Firm registers as an                 investment counsel/portfolio manager with the Saskatchewan Securities Commission.
