Hemisphere Capital Management Inc. is a growing investment firm with exciting portfolio management career opportunities!

We seek qualified individuals dedicated to building portfolio management careers over the long-term. We are currently hiring for the following positions:

 

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee various compliance activities including CRM2 and GIPS verification process;
• Maintain reports/spreadsheets related to portfolio management process;
• Assist in the preparation of sales materials, presentations and proposals;
• Regularly update portfolio performance and related reports;
• Assist in the administration of The Hemisphere Foundation (supports client and corporate charitable activities);
• Undertake special projects as they arise; and
• Other general administrative duties as assigned from time to time.

About the Candidate

• Minimum 3 years business experience, preferably in the financial services industry;
• Bachelor’s degree or higher;
• Completion of the Canadian Securities Course;
• Enrollment in the CIM or CFA program would be considered an asset;
• Desire to work for a small company within an entrepreneurial environment

 

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a group of discretionary private client portfolios;
• Conduct regular client meetings to review portfolio and update client portfolio documentation;
• Contribute to the investment decision making process as a member of the firm’s investment committee.

About the Candidate

• 5+ years of investment industry experience;
• A CFA or CIM designation;
• Prior experience involving HNW clients in a service/sales capacity preferred.
